HOW DO I MAKE A PURCHASE?

Buying in our online SHOP is really easy. When you've chosen the product you wish to buy in the SHOP section, you need to choose the size (if applicable) and then click on the "BUY" button located below the product description. In the next step, a new window will open up, where you can choose the payment method of your preference:

PayPal for International Orders (MercadoPago in Argentina):

This is the option you should check if you choose to pay online with credit card.

You will need to fill-in the data from your card at the secure PayPal site. All information you enter will automatically be protected by the SSL System (Secure Sockets Layer) that guarantees a 100% secure transaction. This system will encrypt the data supplied and hence avoid any unauthorized misuse of information.

Once you’ve completed the card data in PayPal, you will need to complete your personal details and delivery address in our site.

When you are finished with the purchase, you will receive an automatic email confirmation of your purchase and the order number.

Once payment has been credited, we will prepare the package for delivery and we'll send you an email with the tracking number so you can track your package in the Courier’s website.

Personally

This option is only valid for purchases within Argentina and it is the option you should check if you prefer to personally visit us in our offices in Palermo, Capital Federal, Argentina (this option does not allow any shipping). With this option you will be able to evaluate the product physically. In our office you can pay by cash or credit card.

When you select this option, we will ask you to complete your personal details on the web to contact you if necessary.

Once you are finished with the purchase, you will receive an email with our details so you can contact us to coordinate and come and see your product.

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS AND TIMES?

We deliver to Argentina and to the rest of the World.

Shipments in Argentina

For a limited time only, we will be offering FREE shipping on ALL our products in the Argentine territory.

Shipments within the Capital Federal are made via motorbike-deliveries and take between 24 and 48 hrs. to reach destination.

For the rest of the country, shipping is done through Correo Argentino and takes between 24 and 96 hrs. to reach destination.

Once the product leaves our warehouse, we will send you an email with the tracking number so you can track your package via the Correo Argentino website.

It is important that you consider that orders are processed within 48 hrs of confirmed payment of the product. Therefore, shipping times are only estimates and are for reference only. The times stated above begin to run from the dispatch time.

Shipments Outside Argentina

International shipping is made via International Courier Company DHL and is charged to the customer. Rates and delivery times are as follows:

These values are for packages of ​​up to 2.5 kgs (or 5.5 lbs.).

It is important that you consider we schedule deliveries within 72 hrs. of confirmed payment of the product. Shipping times are only estimates and are for reference only.

WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIMES?

The Mail works daily from MON-FRI from 9-18 hrs. No deliveries are made on national holidays.

AM I THE ONLY AUTHORIZED PERSON TO RECEIVE THE PACKAGE?

No, packages can be received and signed by anyone over 18 who is at the delivery address.

WHAT IF THERE IS NO-ONE AT HOME AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY?

If the Mail person cannot find an authorized person to receive the package, a certificate of 1st visit shall be issued and you should call and coordinate with the Mail to reschedule a new delivery date. This 2nd time, you will be able to choose the date and timing.

WHAT ARE THE EXCHANGE AND RETURNS POLICIES?

Any product purchased in Argentina through our website has exchange or refund. Unfortunately, at the moment we cannot offer International Orders any exchange or returns.

In case you are in Argentina and want to make an Exchange or ask for a refund, you first need to contact us via e-mail to sales@piet.com.ar within the first 48 hrs. of having received the product in the stated address, mentioning in the Subject of the mail "Return or Exchange + Your Order No." and explaining in the body of the email, clearly and in full detail the reasons that originate your request. Within the next 24 hrs. we will be contacting you and giving you instructions on how to proceed.

Important Information

  • At the time of delivery of purchase, all orders must sign an acknowledgment by someone over 18. It is very important to check the overall condition of the product before signing the acknowledgment papers, thus warning any damage that might have occurred during transport. Your name, signature and ID, or any adult person's will be considered as a sign of conformity in the receipt of the product.
  • To perform any exchange or refund, the product must have no use and should be with all its labels, accessories and original packaging in perfect conditions.
  • PIET reserves the right to refuse returns or to charge the costsincurred when there is no compliance with the above requirements.

DO YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL RETAIL STORE?

WHAT ARE THE CARE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR LEATHER?

Leather is a very noble and strong natural material. With proper care, it should last for many years to come.

  • Do not overload leather products. Leather has the ability to be easily moulded into different forms and excess filling may lead to undesired lumps in the leather’s surface.
  • Do not expose to direct sunlight. The hot, dry air can cause damage.
  • Never leave the leather product close to a radiator or heat source.
  • Do not store in humid places, as it can result in the growth of mold.
  • Never soak in water, and never ever try to wash it in a washing machine.
  • Should the product get wet or come in contact with water, wipe the humidity with a clean, dry piece of cloth. Leave to dry in the shade, in a ventilated room.
  • If the product becomes dirty, clean it with a slightly moistened cloth, and if necessary use a little mild soap. Wipe gently and do not rub.
  • Never use glycerine soaps, abrasive cleaners, detergent or other cleaning products, alcohol or ammonia water, as their damage is irreversible.
  • To give the leather more resistance to water and dirt, you can choose to treat the leather with some balm or conditioner. These products are sold in shoe stores or local shoe repairs.
  • If you need a more thorough cleaning, our recommendation is always to bring the product to a professional dry cleaner.
  • Consider dark colours may transfer colour to other items such as lighter fabrics.
  • WHAT ARE THE CARE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CANVAS FABRICS?

    • Do not expose to direct sunlight, as it may cause discoloration.
    • Note that the canvas colour is dyed and when wet it may bleed and stain white or lighter coloured pieces.
    • Mild dirt can be cleaned with a sponge dampened with lukewarm water and some mild soap. Do not bleach.
    • To dry the product and prevent wrinkles, stretch it and let it dry in the shade.
    • If you need more thorough cleaning, our recommendation is always to seek assistance of a professional dry cleaner.
