How do I make a purchase?

Buying online in our website is very simple. When you have decided the product you want to buy within the SHOP tab, you must choose the size (if applicable) and then click on the “ADD TO CART” button, located below the product description.

The next window will show step: your “SHOPPING CART”. In here, you will see the items loaded in your cart, their quantities, values, and the total amount of the order (excluding shipping costs). Here you can load a promotional “COUPON” (if case you received one), “EMPTY THE CART” (to remove all items from the cart), “CONTINUE SHOPPING” (to return to the shop and add other items) or simply “BUY NOW” to move ahead with your purchase.

In the next window, step: “BILLING/SHIPPING ADDRESS”, you must enter your email address, personal data and the billing address/shipping address (where you want us to send your purchase). Once the information is correctly completed, on the right hand side column you will see the different shipping options and costs. You can then “CONFIRM THE ORDER”.

If you chose online payment with MercadoPago (Argentina) or PayPal (Rest of the World) in the next step, a new window will open where you can confirm your payment:

  • Pay Online with MercadoPago (Argentina) or Paypal (Rest of the World)

 

This is the option you must choose to pay online with any credit, debit or cash card.
When you complete the purchase, you will receive an automatic email with the payment confirmation and the order number.

Once the payment has been credited, we will arm the office and send you an email with the tracking number so that you can track your package (if applicable), or with the information to withdraw your order by the Studio (in case that applies).

 

What is the coupon code? How do I get one?

These coupons are usually released on special occasions and for specific promotions. They are not available all the time and for everyone. We suggest you keep an eye on our social networks and sign up for our Newsletter on our website to receive these secret coupons that will allow you to access special discounts, gifts and free shipping, among other promotions.

¿How is embossing done?

SHOP ONLINE

If your product is customizable, then you will see the option available in our Online Shop. Within the view of each product, the website will ask you to choose the type of engraving you prefer: Low relief; Silver Foil or simply Without Engraving.

Once your purchase is confirmed, your order will be prepared. Engraving of products purchased online takes between 24-48 business hours to complete and does not delay the dispatch of your order.

STUDIO NÚÑEZ

If you prefer to stop by our Núñez Studio, the initials can be engraved on the spot and live. It depends on how much delay there is in the Studio at the moment, but it usually takes between 5 and 10 minutes.

Some notes:
-The initials engraving has an additional cost, except for a specific promotion that provides the service for free.
– Not all products are customizable. For example, our metal wristbands and metallic card holders cannot be customized.
– Up to 5 letters can be selected. The typography is MS FUTURA and is 12 mm. high.
– We only have capital letters, numbers and pints.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Embossed products do not have change or returns, except in those cases when the shipped products present a product failure or are not the product you have chosen in your purchase.
– Embossing is done with a heat & pressure specialized machine. With the passage of time, the rubbing and the use of the product, it is normal that the engraving loses its intensity and tends to erase.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS? DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT IN INSTALLMENTS?

  • Argentina

Online payments are executed in argentine pesos via MercadoPago payment platform. This platform allows payment with cash (by printing a payment coupon that you can pay at any branch in Rapipago, RedLink or Provincia Pagos), debit card, credit card (if you want, you can divide your purchase into two credit cards).

There are some banks and credit cards that offer interest-free installments for your purchases (you can consult it at www.mercadopago.com.ar/cuotas). If you do not have a promotion, payments with installments will have an additional charge.

You can also opt to pay and pick up personally at our Studio in Núñez, Capital Federal, Buenos Aires. Here you will be able to pay in cash, debit or credit card. We have free 3 installments. We are open monday to friday, from 3 p.m. til 7 pm. and work by appointment only.

  • Rest of the World

Online payments are made in dollars (or other currencies) through PayPal, the most widely accepted online payment platform. This platform allows payment with any credit card, but does not allow payment in installments.

IS IT SAFE TO PAY ONLINE / LOAD THE DATA FROM MY CARD?

MercadoPago is the leading online payment platform in Latin America and guarantees security in all operations generated through its system.

MercadoPago has a privacy system that will encrypt and protect the card data (your card information will never reach PIET) and it also offers a “buyer protection program”. This means that if any inconvenience should arise with the purchase on our site, the platform will return 100% of the money.

PayPal is the most accepted online payment platform internationally and also guarantees security in all operations generated through their system.

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COST?

Domestic shipments (Argentina) will be free in purchases exceeding AR$20,000 (or U$S300).
If the amount of the purchase were lower, the costs are as follows:

– Shipping to Andreani Post Office: AR$210
– Home Delivery: AR$250

Gran Buenos Aires (Pilar, La Plata, San Isidro, etc)
– Studio Pick-Up: $0

INTERIOR (All of Argentina, except CABA, Gran Buenos Aires, Patagonia y Tierra del Fuego)

International shipping is free for purchases over U$200.

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING METHODS?

Shipping with Capital Federal:

Shipments within the Capital Federal are made through the private courier service (GLOVO; CHAZKI; ANDO; RAPPI) and take between 24 and 48 hours. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. and they do not have a tracking number.

 

Shipping within Argentina (except Capital Federal):

For the rest of the country, shipments are made through the Andreani Postal Mail and take between 1-4 business days to reach your address (depending on destination). You can also choose to make your shipment to an Andreani Post Office (these shipments usually take 1-2 business days less to arrive). We will choose the branch closest to your home.

Once the product leaves our warehouse, we will send you an email with the tracking number so you can track your shipment through the Mail’s website.

It is important to keep in mind that orders are processed within 48 hrs. of confirmed payment. Therefore the shipping times are only estimates and serve as a reference only. The times stated above begin to be counted from the moment of dispatch.

 

DHL International Shipping

International shipments are made through DHL Priority Mail. Delivery times are usually 2-4 business days (depending on destination).
Once the product leaves our warehouse, we will send you an email with the tracking number so you can track your shipment through the Mail’s website.

  • It is important to keep in mind that orders are processed within 48 hrs. of confirmed payment. Therefore the shipping times are only estimates and serve as a reference only. The times stated above begin to be counted from the moment of dispatch.
  • In case of import duties or taxes in the destination country need to be paid, this will be in charge of client.

 

Important Information

  • Once the products have been shipped, shipments will not be re-addressed.
  • Delivery times are estimates and do not include delays caused by payment authorizations, problems with transportations and other events unrelated to PIET.

MAY I CHANGE THE SHIPPING ADDRESS?

Your package can be received by any adult above 18 who is in the delivery address. We recommend taking into account the schedules and days of delivery to be attentive and make sure there is someone to receive the package. Please write us an email to info@piet.com.ar with your order number and the new address.

In case your package has already been shipped, unfortunately we will not be able to modify the shipping address. If no one can receive the package at the address entered, the package will return to the origin, i.e. PIET Studios in Núñez and you will have to pay a new shipment or withdraw it personally by our Studio.

AM I THE ONLY AUTHORIZED PERSON TO RECEIVE THE PACKAGE?

Your package can be received by any adult above 18 who is in the delivery address. We recommend taking into account the schedules and days of delivery to be attentive and make sure there is someone to receive the package.

What happens if there is nobody at the address when the package is delivered?

Andreani Shipping

The post office will make a visit and if a person authorized to receive the package is not found, a record of the 1st visit will be left. In the event that on the 2nd visit they cannot deliver it, you will be notified in order to be able to collect your shipment at the Andreani Post office closest to your address. The shipment will be available for a period of 5 business days and in case of not withdrawing it, it will return to the Studio PIET. If this is the case, you must contact us to pay for a new shipment or to withdraw your purchase through our Studio.

 

Express Motorbike Shipping

If there is no person authorized to receive your package, it will return to Studio PIET. Only one visit is done per package. You must contact us to pay for a new shipment or withdraw your purchase through our Studio.

¿Do you have a physical retail store?

Currently we do not have a store on the street, but we do have a studio behind closed doors in the Núñez neighborhood, Capital Federal, Buenos Aires. In the Studio you can find all our products, and you will be able to pay in cash, debit or credit card. We have free 3 installments.

In the Studio, you can also emboss your product at the time of purchase. This takes only a few minutes.

Studio is open monday to friday, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. You can ask for an appointment to visit the studio via email at info@piet.com.ar , social media or via whatsapp at +54 911-2677-7944.

What are the recommendations for leather care?

Leather is a strong and noble material. With proper care, it should last for many years.

  • Do not overload your leather products. Leather has the capacity to mold itself easily to shapes and excess weight may damage or create unwanted marks on the surface.
  • Do not expose directly to sunlight. Constant contact with hot and dry air may dry and dame the leather.
  • Do not expose to humid or closed spaces, as this may result in mold or fungi apparition.
  • Never submerge your products in water or ever try to wash in the washing machine.
  • In case the product gets in contact with water, dry immediately with a dry and clean piece of cloth. Don’t worry, a little rain water won’t do any damage. You can dry your product in the shadow, in a ventilated room at room temperature. Never leave your product close to a radiator or heat machine.
  • If the product gets dirty, clean it with a slightly damp sponge and if necessary use a little neutral soap. Clean it gently and do not rub hard.
  • Never use glycerin soap, abrasive cleaners, varnish, detergent or other cleaning products, alcohols or ammonia water since their damage is irreversible.
  • To make the leathers more resistant to water and dirt, you can choose to grease the leather or treat it with a balm / conditioner. These products are sold in shoe stores and shoe repair shops.
  • In case you need a deeper cleaning, our recommendation is always to take the product to a professional dry cleaner.
  • Bear in mind that dark colors can transfer color to other garments, such as. Clear fabrics

What are the recommendations for the care of canvas / cotton canvas?

  • Do not expose to direct sunlight, as it may alter colors / fade.
  • Keep in mind that the canvas is stained and that if it gets wet it can bleed and stain white or lighter pieces.
  • Light dirt can be cleaned with a sponge moistened with warm water and a little neutral soap. Do not Bleach.
  • To dry the product and avoid wrinkles, stretch it and let it dry in the shade.
  • In case you need a deeper cleaning, our recommendation is always to take the product to a professional dry cleaner.

WHAT ARE THE EXCHANGE AND RETURNS POLICIES?

All products have exchange and return except those that have been engraved with initials.
Changes and returns may be madeup to 30 days after the purchase is made in our Studio or Online Shop.

The product must be sent to Studio de Núñez (our only physical store) in the same conditions in which it was delivered, without use, with its original packaging and together with the order number or invoice or proof of purchase. You can make a change for any other brand product, subject to availability.

In case of not being able to personally approach your product to the Studio, the cost of shipping and re-shipping is at the customer’s expense.

If there is a difference in favor of the customer, it may be used as part of the payment of another product or there will be a credit in favor of the customer to be used in future purchases. In no case will cash returns be made.

Only if your product was purchased online, can we proceed to refund the total amount paid or a partial amount (if applicable) through the MercadoPago platform. In this case, the shipping cost of the products cannot be refunded.
